Eleanor Tallie has just released her debut music video for her critically acclaimed single entitled “Promised Land” in August of 2019.

Eleanor is in the process of recording her new album with producer Steve Greenwell (Joss Stone, Busta Rhymes, Digable Planets and more). Her first single off the record, entitled “Promised Land” is available on all streaming platforms. The single was premiered by the Singer’s Room and received rave reviews immediately from publications such as EARMILK.
Eleanor is set to release several additional single releases over the course of 2020, all produced by Steve Greenwell.
After five years of living and touring in the US, in over 35 states, Eleanor Tallie will be getting back on the road for a 2020 Spring Tour in the upcoming months.
Recording musicians on Eleanor’s single “Promised Land”, as well as all of her upcoming releases include drummer George "Spanky" McCurdy (Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Jill Scott, and Lauryn Hill) and bassist Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson). These two music superstars, along with New Jersey native Larry Friday, and platinum selling producer Steve Greenwell, took part in 5 upcoming singles, all set to be released in 2019-2020.
Eleanor has toured extensively playing over 300 shows in over 35 states since coming to the US in 2013 from her native country of Israel – first with a band she fronted, and later with her own project as Eleanor Tallie. Her debut EP, “No Turning Back”, was released in March 2016 and was produced by 2015 Grammy Award winner, Lawrence “Boo” Mitchell. The EP received critical acclaim from indie music publications, and was played on hundreds of national terrestrial radio stations. It is available on all streaming platforms.

Vocalist, songwriter, performer and multi-instrumentalist Eleanor Tallie has been captivated by the groove of American music since her childhood in Israel. Classically trained on the cello and raised in a household of musicians, Eleanor began writing original lyrics and music when she was 12 years old, and studied classical music for 15 years. After completing her studies, she traveled throughout Israel performing original songs as a singer-songwriter and pianist, both solo and with a band backing her up.
In 2011 Eleanor joined a blues band and travelled internationally as the lead vocalist and co-songwriter. She toured the Netherlands twice, performing in 13 different cities before she moved to the United States in 2013. Making Memphis her home, Eleanor toured extensively and performed 180 shows in over 30 states in the US within the time span of a year and a half. In the spring of 2015, Eleanor began working on her own sound, and began her solo project as Eleanor Tallie. Playing Art-Soul/Neo-Soul original songs written by her, Eleanor’s band and her have been touring mainly in the east and west coasts, with numerous shows in New York City, Brooklyn, Washington DC, Los Angeles as well as New Orleans, Denver, Memphis and more.
For her debut recording, Eleanor assembled a team of carefully-selected musicians, including 2016 Grammy-winning engineer and producer, Lawrence “Boo” Mitchell and his son, Uriah Mitchell. A first-time collaboration between the father and son, Uriah lends his talents on the EP with a number of rousing hip-hop contributions, and joins his father in the production of “No Turning Back”.
